My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book VERY FINE/ Dust Jacket GOOD. NEVER OPENED. Sewn binding. Coated Paper. Boards and spine are red cloth, lettering silver, on front cover is a navy rectangle with silver trim and book title embossed in silver on blue, also red/white/blue air force logo embossed on front. On spine, lettering is silver with navy rectangle with silver trim and book title embossed in silver. Dust jacket is white/blue, lettering white, blue/red front and black/white photo on back flap. Dust jacket is price clipped, has age darkening on edges and folds of flaps, spine is a bit sunned, minor chipping along bottom of dj edge, two 3/4 inch tears in dj bottom edge repaired with tape, a 1 inch and a 1/4 inch tear in dj top edge, a small 1/2 inch piece of paper out of dj top back edge and white back of dj looks a bit dusty from rubbing adjacent book on shelf. The book itself has covers and spine flat, clean, bright, no bent corners, no spine creases, one 1/4 inch closed rip on back bottom board edge. Inner end papers are white. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Owner’s name, date, ink on ffep. This is a very heavy book due to the good quality paper. Lots of black/white photos and illustrations. Colour illustration plates. A fabulous book for pilot’s or those learning to fly. Chapters include The Atmosphere, Modern Aircraft Types, Basic Aerodynamics and Theory of Flight, Airplane Structures, Propulsion, Aircraft Instruments, Medical Aspects of Flight, Basic Flight Techniques in Light Aircraft, Instrument Flying, Flying Higher Performance Aircraft, Weather, Air Navigation, Flight Control Agencies, Helicopter, Aircraft Maintenance, Northern Wilderness Flying, Index.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
