1916. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Book Green cloth, with b/w plates and diagrams 'An explanatory consideration of their characteristics, performances, construction, maintenance and operation, for the use of aviators'. Inscription - Sergeant J N Rogers, Military School of Aeronautics, Reading 1916. Lengthy inscription dating 1987, from his brother Richard Rogers. (See image). When a Corporal, Rogers was awarded the Russian Order of St George when acting as am Observer to Lieutenant Acland. He was also awarded with the DCM. Shortly before being KIA he was commissioned. An interesting historical copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 182 pages. Item Type: Book. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. No Dust Jacket.
