About This Item
Full Leather. Good. 12mo. 276 pp., Stampa di vedova Belin, Saint-Cloud is all that is stated regarding publisher/printer, suggesting this copy was printed outside Paris, although it is in the original Italian. Undated, but small inscription dated 1868, and clearly this is a mid-19th century (1860s) edition. Leather boards are bowed out, and at tips of joints separated, yet holding firmly to binding. Leather is soiled, rubbed and/or shelfworn. Text block tight. Pages toned, generally clean with some minor occasional soilage. A curiosity is spine has gilt name of prior owner, "Lion", below title. (FFEP has small embossed stamp of "Louis Lion".) A good copy.
