The boards have wear about the edges and corners and seams from shelving. They are scuffed and marked from handling and storage. They are secure and comfortable. The contents are clean and clear, eager, assiduously engaging. Vol 2: the guttering along the title page is cracked, but the security of the book is unaffected.
