About This Item
New York: B.W. Huebsch, 1923. First Huebsch Edition. This was the office file copy of Sherwood Anderson’s agent, Harold Ober Associates, sent to them by Mrs. Sherwood Anderson (Eleanor Copenhaver Anderson), and has the agency’s printed name and address label affixed to the front flyleaf on which is typed: “Please take good care of this book--it is Mrs. Anderson’s only copy.” A little rubbing at extremities, some light spotting, and general use, very good copy without dust jacket.
