They are the equivalent of Marine Force Recon and Navy SEAL teams in the jungles of South Vietnam. This book is based on the story an ill-fated, five-man US Army Ranger LRRP (lurp) missing in action in Cambodia in 1970 and the rescue mission that followed. This book is based on eyewitness and documented accounts and not on the official US Army Records. This is the story of Team 5-2 and the heroic and ultimately successful attempts to rescue them despite extraordinarily bad weather and an angry and aware enemy. A clean very presentable copy.
