About This Item
New York, NY Penguin Books, 1946. Paperback First Edition Thus (1946), so stated. First Edition Thus (1946), so stated. Very Good in Wraps: shows indications of careful use: slight spine lean; just a hint of wear to the extremities; mild rubbing to the wrapper covers; faint sunning to the orange background field of the top half-inch or so of the panels (the titles are unaffected: bold and clearly legible); the text pages have tanned somewhat, due to aging; the clear cellophane contact protective wrap that covers the wrapper cover is beginning to bubble and lift in spots, mostly along the outside edge of the front panel; the binding is secure; the text is clean. Free of any creases to the covers. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing only mild wear and a few minor flaws. Bright and Clean. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. (7 x 4.25 x 0.3 inches). 115 pages. Language: English. Weight: 3.2 ounces. First published in 1921 by the Century Company.
