London: Virago Press, 1988 uncorrected proof bound in printed paper wrappers, has rubber stamp of the bookshop it was originally sent to as an Advance Reading Copy, stamped on front and rear cover, some wrinkling of the paper wrappers and first few pages to the edges otherwise tidy copy of Oakley's first work, 309pp, NB the wrapper of this proof misspells her ame as Anne with an E. First Edition. Original Wraps. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6? - 7? tall. Galley/Proof.
