Sauk City, Wisconsin: Mycroft & Moran,, 1951-58-61-65. First editions, first printings, inscribed copies of four early titles in Derleth's Solar Pons series, of which there were 11 works. All these copies are inscribed by the author to F. H. Hollander (1915-2000) of the American Astronomical Society. The dust jackets were designed by Frank Utpatel, who also produced jackets for Arkham House. Four works, octavo. Memoirs: original black cloth, title to spine in yellow. Return: original black cloth, title to spine in green. Reminiscences: original black cloth, title to spine in silver. Casebook: original black cloth, title to spine in gilt. All with dust jackets. Very occasional spotting to text block, a very minor point of cockling to top of front cover of Memoirs, a very small raised bump to front cover of Casebook. Otherwise an excellent set in the lightly toned and slightly nicked jackets, occasional worm damage, with a bit loss to spine head of Memoirs, a couple of points of abrasion to panels and a 17 mm tear to top of front panel of Casebook.
