A very scarce first edition of this brilliant suspense novel by Paul Winterton, a gripping tale of a couple trying to make themselves a fortune. The very scarce first edition, first impression.In the original unclipped dust wrapper.A gripping suspense novel following a man and his mistress as they weave an intricate plot to make a fortune.This novel was later made into a film titled 'A Touch of Larceny'.Written by Paul Winterton under the pseudonym Andrew Garve. He was one of the founding members of the Crime Writers' Association. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Only a few minor marks to the boards. Light spots to the fore edge. Minor edge wear to the dust wrapper, heavier to the head and tail of the spine. Minor marks to the wraps, including some spots to the reverse. Small amount of surface loss to the paper to the flyleaves. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
