New York: Random House, 1947. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Quarto, unpaginated. In Very Good minus condition with Fair dust jacket. Spine blue with white and red titling. Dust jacket protected with a mylar covering; price uncut: "250/250." Some chipping and wear to all extremities and water staining to rear cover, including some bleeding to interior. Binding with some water-staining to head and tail of spine and most of rear cover. First printing in Younger variant 'a', with bright kelly green cloth, fish with open mouth on cover, 7 line copyright notice, and first state dust jacket, with 250/250 price on front flap and no price on rear flap. AL Consignment. Shelved in Case 2. 1361658. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
