London: Collins, 1956. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. First edition. Near fine with spine gilt dulled and a few small sunned spot on the spine in about very good dust jacket with chipping to the spine, some rub spots and toning to the rear panel. Signed on the title page and also Inscribed on a preliminary to poet Michael Curtis using his full name: "My very best wishes to Michael Curtis Ralph Hammond Innes at Folger Luncheon 15/7/81." The author's most famous book made into the 1959 film *The Wreak of the Mary Deare* staring Gary Cooper and Charlton Heston.
