About This Item
San Francisco: View by View Inc, 1993. Pamphlet. 32p. plus 2p additional (Snapple Beverages paid for a back-cover statement in bright colors), presswork on semi-glazed alkaline paperstock and bound as a staple-fastened pamphlet, 11x8.5 inches. A few light crimps to cover margins, a very nearly as-new copy: perfectly sound, clean and unmarked. Contents consist of numerous sponsoring Bay Area corporations such as Lucasfilm, and foreign-language materials paid for by politicians such as several former mayors and one soon-to-be (Brown). Terminal leaves constitute a brief program of speakers. Very little on the garden sculptures and waterfall design of the physical site, said to be the largest such monument outside Atlanta - although the cover provides a nice color photo (which does not reveal the sheer size of the assembled stonework).
