Acceptable. 426 p., immaculate and unmarked except for gift inscription with 1927 date on front end page; neatly opened pages; back gutter beginning to crack but volume square and handsome; despite absence of d.j. the dark green boards are unfaded and gilt lettering is still bright on front but faded on spine, which has rubbing at crown and closed tear on one side.
