Toronto: McClelland & Stewart. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. 205 p. 28 cm. Cover titles read "Samuel Marchbanks' Almanack". Sound and square binding, in black paper-covered boards. Bottom corners lightly bumped. Minor wear to all corners. A couple of dings to bottom edges. Inside pages clean and unmarked, but tanning. Dustjacket spine and flap folds are darkened. It has light edge wear, more so at the spine ends. The title cut out has three very tiny tears. It is not price clipped. This is the third book in a series of witty observations by "Samuel Marchbanks". Samuel Marchbanks wrote editorials for the Peterborough Examiner while his creator, Robertson Davies, was the editor of the paper. .
