About This Item
Puebla, 1905. Very good.. 417pp. Original blue publisher's cloth, stamped in black. Light wear and soiling to binding. Minor toning to text. Primera edicion. The volume is filled with a wide variety of recipes for papas, tortillas, huevos, lenguas, sopas, lomos, salsas, pastels, and more. The recipes here are sorted by subject -- consomes, pescados, carnes, reposteria, etc. -- with an index at the end, also sorted by types of foods. The verso of the introduction is adorned with a handsome wood cut of an opulent meal at table. Fairly rare -- we locate two copies in OCLC, at the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Florida.
