About This Item

GB: Samuel Bagster & William Pickering, 1834. Colour frontispiece. 20 and 244 pages. A library stamp at base of title page has been rubbed off leaving minor traces and having removed the end letters XIV of MDCXXX[XIV] (Can just be read with a magnifying glass). Fairly clean tight text but a few marks noted. Text block has been trimmed and fitted with new endpapers and rebound by a library in strong green cloth with gold lettering on spine whichincluded a shelf number (now mostly rubbed off). A library label has been removed from front cover leaving some scarring. Front pastewdown also bit scarred. Text is otherwise free of library marks. This is a very good working copy which would benefit from another rebind.. 1st Edition. Hardback. Good/No DW.
