LONDON: FABER AND FABER. A children's storybook about a man who rediscovers the architectural Arch and uses it in the building of one of the great cathedrals, Notre Dame in Paris. Illustrated with black and white and part colour drawing/cartoon illustration. Ex-library book. Illustrated boards. Surface wear/peeling on board edges, including the top and bottom of the exterior spine(not too severe). '10P' written in red felt tip on the front board. Surface damage on pastedown on reverse of front board, where a card pocket has been removed. Also a sticker on this pastedown(with welsh text) which has a withdrawn stamp on it. Residue of issuing form and date stamp marks(plus withdrawn stamp) on the front endpaper(a blank page) and a small blacked out area, where a price has been covered. Light foxing on some pages. Dust jacket has been lost. . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1957.
