The text is illustrated with colour advertisements, black and white illustrations and black-and-white photographs and colour photographs. Colour illustrated card cover with white coloured titles. Inserted loosely is small handbill on the plot of the Opera. The theatre programme for the Opera Madama Butterfly put on by Opera Australia, at the Sydney Opera House from July 10, intermittently, to November 1, 2003. The Theatre programme has also contemporary photographs of Japanese women at the end of the 19th century along with a small history of the Opera and its theme. Minor rubbing to the book corners. The small inserted programme is somewhat creased at the corners. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Not paginated [58 pages].. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic and Illustrations.
