Very good with marginal chipping and tearing along lower half of dust jacket. Mostly black and white plates, including frontis. Red end papers. In addition to plates, includes an appendix containing selection of letters from Lyonel Feininger to H. Francis Kortheuer and Alfred Vance Churchill. Includes artist bibliography. First free front end paper includes signature of previous owner in pencil: “Peter Selz.” First printing and first edition. From the Collection of the Art Historian Peter Selz.
Synopsis
Catalog of an exhibition held May 18-Aug. 5, 2007 a the Staatliches Museum Schwerin and Aug. 19-Oct. 28, 2007 at the Pommersches Landesmuseum Greifswald. Colored map under front flap. Includes bibliographical references. German and English.
