New York: Scribner, Armstrong and Co, 1874. Second printing. Hardcover. Good. 2nd printing of Walter Bagehot book has brown boards with a gilt title and L.s.d. embossed on the cover. Boards have chipping at the top and bottom of spine and the corners and edges are worn. Text block is browning but clean. Front end pages have a ghost image from a newspaper column. Binding is strong.
