About This Item
Doubleday, 1947-01-01. Hardcover. Good/Unclipped. Stated first ed.; 212 p., clean and unmarked but with book plate of former owner on front paste down; droll line drawings by Leo Hershfiled; binding firm; yellow boards have only slight wear at upper edges, where pictorial d.j. did not reach--d.j. itself has some chipping at upper edges and a closed tear along lower seam of spine panel--so we know it did its very best to protect the volume beneath.
