Charles Scribner's Sons, 1946. Hardcover. good. Signed. Later printing without the "A" on the copyright page. Inscribed (to Beebe & Louis Barron) and SIGNED by Oscar Williams on the front endpaper. The volume is edge rubbed (thread bare at the spine ends and boards exposed near the corners), bumped with a 1 1/2" long indendation on the front panel, wrinkled on the rear panel, and lightly sun faded on the spine. The pages have light age toning. Short (most are 1 page or less) poems by W. H. Auden, Rupert Brooke, E. E. Cummings, Emily Dickinson, T. S. Eliot, Robert Frost, Robinson Jeffers, D. H. Lawrence, Ezra Pound, Stephen Spender, Wallace Stevens, Dylan Thomas, Elinor Wylie, etc. Good, lacking a dust jacket.
