Front and back boards have some moisture staining about 1 1/2 inches of the boards that extends top to bottom on the right side of the front and left side of the back. This damage does not extend into the pages or even the endpaper illustrations. Except for a corner crease to page 33-34 the interior is faultless. The back endpaper has a 1/4 inch chunk missing form the top. Includes two pages at the end of advertisements for other David Cory books. Frontispiece consisting of a four-color drawing titled Professor Crow Took Hold of Featherhead's Ear.
