1853 hardcover as pictured. Binding is firm, front hinge cracked. Embossed brown boards with gold stamping are faded, soiled and worn with fraying at top and bottom of spine and at corners. FFEP has been removed. Writing on half title page and rear endpaper. Text is age tanned and mottled but still very readable. No jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s
