Chatto & Windus, 1933. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1933. No Edition Remarks. 303 pages. No dust jacket. Turquoise cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. Water marks and a few small nicks along text block edge. Slight cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Very heavy tanning to spine, with visible crushing to spine ends. Liquid drops on rear board. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
