This is the4 Library Edition, limited to 150 copies, this being #3. Title-pages in black and red letters. Frontispieces and full-page illustrations with tissue-guards throughout the text. Some illustrations are in color. Small chip from top of spine on Volume 1. Small areas of black pigment foot of spine on Volumes 2, 5, 9, and 10. See photos. A very nice, clean and crisp set of this extensive biography of Scott. The first edition was a seven-volume set in 1837-38. . Library Edition, Limited. 3/4 Red Leather. Light Wear/No Dust Jackets.
