Hardcover. 335p., original publishers cloth heavily chipped on the spine (affecting spine titling), ex library with the usual markings, both hinges cracked with weakness to rear hinge. Salt, a socialist, an animal rights activist, vegetarian and pacifist, was active in social reform circles and influential with anarchists (Joseph Ishill & his Circle), Gandhi and many others.
