Indianapolis: The Bobbs Merrill Company, 1925. Hardcover. Octavo, Two volumes (xvi, 517 pages ; 516 pages). In Fair plus condition. Spines are brown with gold print. Boards in brown cloth, embossed portrait of Lincoln on front. Light wear to spine caps and corners, light shelf wear. Text blocks have gilt top edges, spotting to edges, light age-toning to paper, uncut pages, first volume has spine break at page 446 and cracked rear hinge. Illustrated: b&w frontispiece portraits and plates.
