This superb catalogue was published to accompany an exhibition at the Corcoran, which was the first retrospective of Lichtenstein's sculpture. The exhibition itself, and the catalogue, are related somewhat to an earlier exhibition entitled " Roy Lichtenstein, Imagenes Reconcibles" which had previously been held in Mexico. A scarce and extremely important catalogue and exhibition, offering unique insight into an area of Lichtenstein's art that is infrequently examined. The exhibition was held in Washington, DC: Corcoran Gallery of Art, June 5 to Sept. 30, 1999.
