Hardcover. xviii, 222p., cloth-covered boards, ex-library (California Labor School Library) with rubberstamps on title page and top edge of text block and number penned on spine, edges of textblock foxed, flap of dj glued to rear pastedown endpaper, previous owner's name penciled on front pastedown endpaper, a reading copy only. From the library of Mike Gold, with a slip of paper marked "MG Library, 1945" stapled to the free front endpaper. No dj. Letters written by a Palestinian Jewish soldier to his wife during World War II.
