The work contains a collection of letters from noted people along with a brief history of letters and the art of letter writing. In half crushed morocco with cloth to the boards. Externally excellent with only slight marks to the boards. Minor offsetting to the extremities of the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. An old ink inscription to the half title. Light spotting to the fore edge. Near Fine
