The fifth impression published in November of 1922. First published in February 1922.Bound in half crushed morocco with cloth to the boards. Raised bands and gilt text to the spine.This work was written by critic, historian and teacher George Saintsbury. The work contains a collection of letters from noted people along with a brief history of letters and the art of letter writing. In half crushed morocco with cloth to the boards. Externally excellent with only slight marks to the boards. Minor offsetting to the extremities of the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. An old ink inscription to the half title. Light spotting to the fore edge. Near Fine
