The book records the pioneering of the Williams family in the Mackay region where the family established the Williams agencies, the motor dealership selling Buick, Oakland, Pontiac and Chev cars and Trucks. They were the RACQ agent in 1925, and the agents for the then 10-year old Qantas air mail in 1931. The Leichhardt tree itself is still standing on the banks of the Pioneer River in Mackay today, although it was damaged by vandals in 2011.. First edition.. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo.
