Longmans, Green and Co, 1909-01-01. New Impression. Hardcover. Very Good. Housed in a beautiful new slipcase of green cloth and marbled paper in fine condition. The green, beveled edge cloth boards with gold representation of the Madonna and child on the front are rubbed at the edges, there are some scuffs on the front, small ripples on bottom edge, spine darkened, rubbing at the head/tail. Sepia illustrations with tissue guards, the tissue is tanned as are all of the pages opposite. 1909 copyright, new impression. All orders packed with care, dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011
