About This Item

London: Blackie & Son This was a favorite Sunday School prize, and this particular copy, according to a label inside the front cover, was given to Gwendolen J. Crofts of Southfields Baptist following a Scripture Examination on March 8th 1935 by the Wandsworth Auxiliary Sunday School Union. There are numerous headpiece, tailpiece, and full-page wood engravings. 96 pp. Dark blue cloth with gold stamping. This is a very nice copy with barely discernible wear, though there is foxing on the very last page.. Illus. by W. R. H. Johnson.
