Glasgow: James Maclehose and Sons, 1907. Leather. Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5.5". None. An attractively bound copy of the works of the Scottish philosopher, Edward Caird. 'Sermon and Addresses' by Edward Caird. In a lovely leather binding. Edward Caird was a Scottish philosopher. He was master of Balliol College in Oxford until in 1893, after the publication of his great work on The Evolution of Religion in the same year. A philosopher is great renowned Caird was elected a Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 1900. In a half calf binding with attractive blue marbled boards, pastedowns and endpapers. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to extremities and tear to rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just a few light spots to the title page. Very Good Indeed
