Collection of various newspaper verses, including parodies of John Masefield, Ezra Pound, James Whitcomb Riley, Robert W. Service, and others (also including one prose takeoff on Ring Lardner). With date of 1914 on title page recto (last copyright date of 1914 on title page verso). Provenance: From the library of publisher Alfred A. Knopf, with his bookplate on front attached endpaper. Spine sunned, with slight wear to head and foot (fraying); slight rubbing and browning to covers (cloth); slight bumping to corners and foredges; previous owner's printed paper label on front free endpaper; slight internal uniform browning (chiefly to endpapers and edges).b/w Title vignettes; Title Pages (red/black).
