Stiff clean book in full leather with gilt ruled borders to both boards; five raised bands and gilt decoration to spine. Glossy marbled endpapers and all marbled edges; folded map of Cilicia tipped-in; unmarked but for a presentation by Henry H Collings to a George W Allan on his leaving Eton college, 1855. Occasional engravings througout. A handsome volume. ; 394 pages .
