Elegant, uncommon 1922 catalogue showcasing the beautiful landscape plantings of Lewis & Valentine Co., based in New York but also with branches in Rye, Boston, Detroit, Ardmore PA, Miami and Valley Stream and Roslyn Long Island. Crisp, lavish black-and-white photos showcasing some of the great estates of the day and their elaborate plantings. Oblong quarto in its dark-green cloth, with gilt-silhouetting and design to the front panel. A solid, VG copy, with light rubbing and scuffing to the front panel and light wear at the spine ends and the tips.
