VG(-)/Good+. 16 Cms x 22 Cms. xvi+272, 35 col.plates, 46 photographs (all ex-pagination)+52 text ills; 7 tiny pencilled notes top back endpaper easily eraseable, thin brown tanning line down centre same offset from wraparound, short closed tear top half-title, bottom outer corner leaf vii/viii missing but no loss of text, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked; covers clean bright and unworn bar very sl.rub bottom front outer corner; unclipped jacket generally clean but faint tanning spots to back, internally closed tear top back joint, faint dark 1.5 cm strips across back top and bottom edges caused by internal brown sellotape ghosts (do not show on front and spine due to these being coloured, tanning spots to wraparounds (will add protective sleeve when ordered). A history of the ways in which human acitivty, especially farming and industrialisation has affected the British landscape.
