B T Batsford, 1950. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1950. 2nd Edition. 264 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Black and white photographic plates throughout with colour illustrated frontispiece. Ex-Libris plate stuck to front free endpaper. Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, frontispiece is loose. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Water staining to top edge of text block. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends.
