About This Item
London: Frederick Warne Pictorial red cloth hardcover without dust jacket, undated (but c1884/1890, as Reid died in 1883 and an ink signature on the free front endpaper is also dated "Dec 3, 1890"), 239 pages plus illustrations; edges worn, but cover lettering and decoration still clear (although somewhat less so on the faded spine), some foxing throughout, overall a presentable copy by outward appearances, but both hinges have been crudely taped inside, and it would appear that the boards would be completely detached from the text block without this tape, so caveat emptor.. Hard Cover. Good +.
