Lake Mahopac, NY: Privately Printed , 1906. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original 1906 publication and not a newer reprint. Very uncommon to find in hardback as title was mainly published as a softcover in suede. Brown cloth boards with gilt text on front. Boards show spotting and soiling, edges and corner show bumps/wear. The hinge area at the upper left corner of the front board has a small wear spot and hole. Internal binding is good, pages are toned due to age and there is some minor foxing and spotting present. Inscribed and signed by the author on the second front end page: "To Mrs. Anna Harrison, Complements of the author - U. G. Warren, Corning N.Y., July-15-1926". No other handwriting found in book, no bookplates or library markings present. Light brown end pages and front and rear are clean the rear pastedown has a few scuffs to the paper. There is no copyright page (rear of title page is blank) and only date listed is on the preface which shows a publication date of August, 1906.
