London: N, 1966. Pp. [vi]+184; boards a trifle bowed, the bottom fore-corners faintly bruised; price-clipped dust wrapper, designed by Colin Andrews, faintly scuffed, edges lightly rubbed and split, with a couple of tiny chips, the backstrip slightly tape marked on reverse; inked gift inscription (dated 1966) on upper free endpaper, a couple of spots of foxing; Heinemann, London, 1966. First edition. Loder p. 235. *The last Bony story, published posthumously. Unfinished by Arthur Upfield when he died in 1964, the novel was completed and revised by J. L. Price and Dorothy Strange, using the author's manuscript and copious notes left by Upfield for that purpose.
