Lady Molly of Scotland Yard is her unique set of 12 stories featuring Molly Robertson-Kirk, one of the earliest female detectives ever created as a fictional character.

Although not necessarily a feminist work, Lady Molly of Scotland Yard definitely implies the ability of a female character to enter the dangerous and oftentimes considered improper world of police work. In the early 1910s, the idea of a female detective was unheard of, but the Baroness skillfully gets around the issue by introducing Molly's motive for becoming a detective: the prospect of saving her fiancee from a grossly false accusation.
