'Lady Molly of Scotland Yard' is a collection of short stories about the female detective Molly Robertson-Kirk, one of the first fictional female detectives. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and fifteen plates. Collated, complete. Written by Baroness Emma Orczy, a novelist who is best known for her series of novels featuring the Scarlet Pimpernel. Illustrated by Cyrus Cuneo. Prior owner's ink inscription to the title page. Sixteen pages of publisher's adverts to the rear. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light marks to the boards and spine, and a little fading to the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Some spots to the fore edge. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot. Very Good Indeed
