Half green leather with marbled paper boards. Spines gilt, brown spine labels. Corners bumped and edges worn. Paper scuffed and rubbed. Spine and front board separated from text block edge and front board is nearly detached from spine. Pages up to title are detached. Foxing.

Includes poetry, articles on needlework, reviews of music, etc. Articles about the ambition of women to grow beards, how postage stamps are made in France, hairdressing in equatorial Africa, a cure for hydrophobia, why ladies should read newspapers, etc.
