About This Item
Press of the Pioneers, 1935-01-01. Hardcover. Good. Two hardcover volumes in custom slipcase. Rounded leather bands at head and foot of slipcase. Books are gold gilt stamped green cloth over boards, limited to 1000 copies, illustrated by Howard Simon in beautiful black and white plates. Light scuffing and rubbing to covers, spines lightly faded, light line down spine of volume one, corners and edges bumped and rubbed lightly. An attractive set. We have a rather large collection of Western Americana that we acquired from one John Brundt of Walla Walla, Washington. Brundt crafted beautiful custom slipcases for almost his entire collection numbering nearly a thousand titles. We have more books from his library available for avid collectors!
