New York: Random House. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1939. Hardcover. Large format hardcover with dustjacket, 1939 is the only date listed but this is apparently a late 1950s edition as evidenced by the other Seuss titles listed on the rear flap, gold cloth with burgundy-colored title, moderate edge-wear to the corners and a short, closed tear in the margin of the title page and the following page and the last page, the book is clean, bright and attractive with a tight binding and fine contents, the predominantly blue jacket has heavy edge-wear with some spine-loss, the original price (295) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included .
Synopsis
Theodor Seuss Geisel-aka Dr. Seuss-is, quite simply, one of the most beloved children's book authors of all time. The forty-four books he wrote and illustrated under the name Dr. Seuss (and others that he wrote but did not illustrate, including some under the pseudonyms Theo.
