Publisher's full marigold cloth, black lettering on spine and cover, black embossed vignette of boy surfing on cover, top edge yellow, color illustrated maps on endpapers. Illustrated with full-page color drawings and in-text illustrations by Lucille Holling. Alice Cooper Bailey (1890 1978) was an American writer of children's books and articles for periodicals. She is best known for the books "Katrina and Jan" and "Kimo.". Former owner's name on fep (dated 1937), edges worn and soiled, spine mildly darkened, otherwise unmarked, else near fine; tight and square. VERY GOOD. . Color Illustrations. Small 4to 9" - 11" tall. 96 pp .
